The ambitious welfare scheme known as Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana was announced by the state government of Punjab in 2019 and was officially launched by Chief Minister Captain Amarendra Singh in the year 2020. The scheme and the activities related to it are monitored, implemented, and supervised by the Government of Punjab.

This scheme was planned and launched to provide employment to the people especially youth in the state of Punjab. To start with, one has to click on the registration tab while visiting the homepage of the portal. Then one has to choose the type of user and may select ‘job seeker’ to go onto the next page which displays the registration form. The registration form needs to be filled up with the necessary and mandatory details. One has to click the submit tab to complete the submission of the form online.
  3. The documents that are required for applying online are Applicant’s Aadhaar Card, Identity card, Residence certificate, Educational qualification certificate, mobile number, and photo. All the documents can be submitted online through the portal.

Users who want to search for the varied kinds of jobs listed and available can click on the job tab and then select the type, eg  ‘view all private jobs’ or ‘view all government jobs’.
