This scheme essentially falls under the RTE Act 2009, according to which all students of the weaker sections will receive a 25% reservation even in private schools. Under the implementation of the RTE in Tamil Nadu, the Tamil Nadu government along with the Tamil Nadu School Education department is intending to invite RTE online application form for the academic year 2021-22.

How to fill the RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2021-22 online form?

In order to be a beneficiary for the RTE Tamil Nadu scheme, the following procedure needs to be followed:

  • In order to apply for the RTE admission Tamil Nadu, the applicant has to foremostly visit the official website: http://rte.tnschools.gov.in/
  • On the homepage, the applicant is expected to click the “Start Application” link under the “Application to private schools under the provisions of the Right to Education Act, 2009 Section 12.1(c)”, as shown herewith
  • In the next window, the RTE Tamil Nadu application 2021-22 student/parent online registration form will open up as shown here:
  • Fill in personal details of the student such as the name of the child, gender, date of birth, password, religion, community, mobile number, eligible class as per the Date of Birth, email ID and finally, the applicant is expected to click the “save” button.
  • Finally, the applicant will get a message of successful registration and Application number, which will resemble this
  • Candidates can then log in using their application number, their password and click on the “Login” button as illustrated here:
  • The applicant can proceed to fill the RTE application form by entering parent details
  • After filling in the application form, the applicant will have to provide Address details to proceed with the RTE Tamil Nadu admission 2021-22 online application form
  • Accordingly, the applicant is expected to fill in the residential address, Pin Code, district and proceed thereon to fill the RTE Tamil Nadu admission online application by uploading documents.
  • As a final step, the applicant gets to select the schools and complete the TN RTE Admission 2021-22 online registration/application form filling process.
